This is a complex topic. Of course there are way better informed specialists who can correct me on my guesses and stuff. So to speak: this will not be a technical deep dive into AI and big data. I’m just lazy to read into that stuff myself. But I feel the urge two throw in my two cents on all this talking about ChatGPT, Bard and other AI tools out there.

Maybe It is now time to leave Digitally Imported for good. It occurs to me already a few years back after a lot of questionable choices.
There are a few things where I did close both eyes in hope that things will change for the better on DI.FM.

UniFi 6 Lite with freifunk

Got an intersting issue recently with an newly bought UniFi 6 Lite device which happens to was setup already with the newly UniFi firmware 6.2.49.
I did some simple downgrade to put an older version on it to get it working with Freifunk. Click more for links.
It seems that the new stock firmware has some security checks in to block writing custom firmwares. As much as I tried I could not get the openwrt running withoug downgrading first.
Cyberpunk 2077 Review

I have over 200 hours into playing Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam. I was there in the beginning and took every patch they made till today. I played the game twice. The first playthrough with version 1.0 the second one I started with 1.3 till today. I loved The Witcher game series (same company); Mass Effect (Trilogy); Baldurs Gate and other critically acclaimed RPGs.
And I still can’t take the game seriously.
